On loan from the Napa County Historical Society, this exhibit traces Napa Valley’s long history as a wellness destination — from the Wappo people, who first sought out the area’s healing geothermal springs and volcanic mud, to the 19th-century hot-spring resorts that drew visitors long before wine did. On view now at the Heritage Center. This needs to be longer.
The Heritage Center is open the first Saturday of each month, noon to 4 p.m., at 1255 Oak Avenue, St. Helena.
