Diane Dillon shared her research into St. Helena’s elections beginning in 1876 — lively portraits of some of the town’s most outrageous elected officials, and a few pre–Brown Act shenanigans. Dillon traced the events that, over the years, shaped what she calls our town’s “civic DNA.”
